Microfluidic Cartridge Assembly Technician
This Full-Time position requires the ability to function with minimal oversight and convert customer demands into finished product. They will execute detailed production protocols and ensure continual operation of equipment to meet production targets assigned by management. Effectively and immediately communicate any complications that arise during manufacturing, and then be able to work with engineers to establish and maintain a solution. Provide detailed documentation of manufacturing activities on a daily basis. This role will require an individual who demonstrates a proactive mindset to manage multiple tasks and drive them to completion in a timely manner. This person is responsible for providing accurate, efficient and quality workmanship in the assembly and QC of multi-component microfluidic cartridges. Individual must exhibit high degree of attention to detail and follow multi-step processes accurately and rapidly.
This person will also participate in general production, including:
High school diploma or equivalent, industry experience a plus.
AAS or higher degree in a related technical field (chemistry or engineering) preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
A minimum of 1-5 year experiences in precision high-tech production or manufacturing or assembly or related position within biology, chemistry, or engineering.
Highly organized with good attention to detail
Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity needed.
Skilled in the use of microscopes.
Exhibit a high degree of flexibility, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement activities.
Excellent interpersonal skills required.
Basic computer literacy with MS Office or Google Doc software environment
Hourly rate between $13-$18/hr based on experience.

Field Application Scientist
NanoCellect Wolf installations are expected to grow rapidly driving the demand for high quality customer training and technical support. We are looking for a Field Applications Scientist, to be based in our San Diego office, for training and supporting customers. If you enjoy bringing new technologies to market, embrace challenge, and are capable of fitting in a flexible and multidisciplinary environment, then this position may be for you. The successful applicant will provide complex applications support, troubleshooting and diagnosis on NanoCellect systems in life science research settings. The Field Applications Scientist will be responsible to provide operator training on instruments and teaching customers how to develop their own assays using the Wolf system. This position also has a pre-sales function and works closely as a partner with the sales and marketing team.
